Job Details

Qualifications

Candidates must be (at least) 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license in good standing issued by the State of Florida, be comfortable driving a cargo van and be able to lift (up to) 50lb. packages. Candidates must consent to a criminal background check, motor vehicle driving record check, and a 5-panel drug test. Successful candidates must be able to navigate a GPS system safely and comfortably and have a positive attitude to complete deliveries! Upon passing all applicable background checks, candidates will go through a PAID two-day driver training course. We provide Amazon Prime branded vans and uniforms, GPS devices and all necessary tools to make your position safe while you are on the road!

Responsibilites

Load van with containers / packages before route departure
Conduct a morning and end-of-day vehicle inspection
Assist co-workers loading their vans to ensure a timely departure from the Amazon station
Deliver products and *smiles* to Amazon Prime customers in a timely manner
On the road (OTR) for up to 10-hour shifts, delivering to routes within a 50-mile radius
Handle physical work i.e. climb in/out van, use of stairs, lift containers without issue
Perform responsibilities during inclement weather conditions
Fill up gas tank upon returning to the Amazon station
Return and document accordingly any undeliverable packages
Maintain a clean van
Be competent and efficient on GPS device, and be able to troubleshoot, if necessary
Be open to assisting in other capacities, as needed
Follow Amazon designated safety protocol and procedures
Willing to assist co-workers in a supportive way
